Hi,

My name is Kayley and I am a pixie bob or at least that's what they tell me. My family calls me the little "Nub Tail" because of my stumpy little tail which seems to have a mind of its own. They say it reacts to sounds and conversation even when I am asleep which I do a lot. I was born in April 2004 and my first family put me up for adoption but I really don't know why; maybe they didn't like my little nub tail? I was adopted by my new family (David & Andrea) a few months later and they really love me. They even built me this really neat 13,000 square foot house to live in.

It is a two story house on a lake with lots of windows for me to look out of and really wide window sills so I don't fall off when I'm sleeping on them. I have many scratch boxes throughout the house as well as a my own bed in almost every room. Unlike most other cats, I don't eat or drink out of a regular bowl; I drink my water from a crystal glass and my bowl is made of fine china. At meal time I dine with my family at the same table and I find some of the food that they eat to be quite tasty. Some might say I'm spoiled, but I don't think so, at least not when compared to Andrea.

My normal daily routine is to lay out on the pool deck for the first couple of hours in the morning and then I come inside for a little nap. When David & Andrea are out riding their bikes, I' am jumping up on the counters and all of the places I'm not supposed to be, but don't tell them because I'm sure they just think I'm sleeping. In the afternoon I like to go back onto the pool deck, because that's when all of the lizards come out and I can practice my hunting skills. I'm not one to brag, but I can catch any lizard that comes into my pool area and they make tasty little snacks although I usually don't eat the heads. Sometimes I even bring them back in the house to play with them in the air conditioning.

In the evening I like to stay on the pool deck until David & Andrea go to bed. Sometimes I go to bed with them and other times I like to patrol the home for a few hours before coming to bed. In the morning, I wake David up so he can make coffee for Andrea and then he lets me out so I can start the routine again.
